Happy Monday everyone from this side of the world!  And on this side, the view is glorious!  Mua Cave in Ninh Binh Province, Vietnam, feels like another world.  A world where mythical creatures come to life, where caves and mountains meet river and fields.

500 steps to the top of the mountain, the view is breathtaking.  They actually filmed parts of Kong Skull Island in Ninh Binh and I can see why.  Pairing an incredible dress with this incredible backdrop, I love how this Anthropologie piece excludes an elegant yet fairytale touch.  And it’s actually a convertible dress with over fifteen ways to wear!  Braided details have a special place in my heart, so I adjusted the straps and formed braids on both sides, criss-crossing the back and front.

I love fashion.  I honestly do.  When I was eight, all I wanted for my birthday was a fashion magazine.  Reading a magazine and moreover devouring the glossy images, was a way for me to escape.  To get away from all of the screaming and yelling, to have a place where imaginary worlds collide.  Beautiful dresses against incredible backgrounds… it gave me hope that one day I’ll be in a world that’s safe, vibrant, and optimistic.  Fashion to me is more than about the clothes, it’s about painting a world.  I still can’t believe I work in this field.  It saved me as a child, and it continues to give me hope and energy as an adult.

In a small way, I hope that this post transported you to another world.  A world that’s full of joy, happiness, peace, and magic.  Thank you so much for being with me today.  As always, thank you so much for reading.
