Happy Wednesday everyone! This is our last post from Ninh Binh before we head to Hanoi. And what a great way to say good bye (for now). We’re closing this chapter with one of the most charming places in Ninh Binh… the Bich Dong Pagoda. Located near the village of Tam Coc, this ancient tiered pagoda is tranquillity and serenity personified. Surrounded by lush green and nestled into a mountainside, this beautiful place has three levels with interconnecting caves and incredible mountainside views.
As we move from Saigon to Sapa to Ninh Binh, and now to Hanoi, one thing is constant… my little lilac darling. My Senreve Mini Maestra bag is actually the only handbag I packed for this trip. I love this bag and also have it in a cream color (as seen in this blog post). 100% full-grain Italian leather, a sleek and minimalist design, a roomy compartmentalized interior that is large enough to fit all essentials (a water bottle, passport, make-up pouch, sunglasses, phone, keys, wallet, and more), this small but mighty bag is literally holding my life on this trip.
If you’ve seen my Instagram Stories, you probably saw me wearing this bag as a backpack most of the time. With all of my travel documents with me, I feel safe knowing that there is a full zipper all the way across and a flap closure for extra security. This bag has been with me through hot humid weather and through rain (tropical thunderstorms are very common in Vietnam). It still looks brand new like the day I got it. It’s incredibly durable and scratch resistant. And I love this lilac color! Such a sweet color for spring and summer!
I hope you enjoy the location, styling, and photography. Thank you so much for reading! And special thanks to Senreve for partnering on this post!
